It's always a joy when we get to gather with those from throughout the synod and country for worship. It's even more of a joy when we get to gather to officially welcome our new bishop, Bishop Anne Edison-Albright and her family to our synod. 

Initially, this past Saturday was scheduled to be the day of a Service of Installation for Bishop Anne, however due to the pandemic...
New This Week
We will be having a drive-in parking lot Worship Service the 2nd and 4th Sundays of every month at 10:15am. Communion distribution will be the 4th Sunday from 10:00-11:15am. This will give those who miss coming to church the opportunity to meet here.

In addition, we will be airing our online worship at 9:15am on Facebook every Sunday.

Virtual Annual Meeting Announcement
Christ the King’s Virtual Annual Meeting

Following the 9:15am Livestream Service

Join us for CtK’s Virtual Annual Meeting. This year it will be held virtually using Zoom due to the pandemic. We will begin onboarding members and allowing them to enter the meeting soon after 10am and start the meeting by 10:30am. This process will take some time for everyone to enter, so please be patient while we established a quorum and can proceed with the agenda for the day. Just a reminder we do need 50 confirmed members of CtK to be present. So tell others.

The Annual Report will be emailed Friday, January 15 for you to review. This report includes ministry reports and blessings God has provided over the past year and what lies ahead for 2021.

Stewardship
We did it! $55,000!
CtK has surpassing the goal of $50,000 for the 2021 Ministry Spending Plan! Since mid-October we have been tabulating intent cards and your gifts written in!
Thank you for meeting the challenge and for supporting the ministry that serves you and many throughout our community and world. That’s right our ministry is global and God’s love comes to life all over the world 😊
Faith in Our Homes Video Series
This week Pastor Dara will show us how we can Pray, Stretch and Breathe in this week’s episode of Faith In Our Homes!
The Faith In Our Homes video series is aimed to help families connect to our faith. Each week a member of the CtK staff will present a video focusing on Gods promises made through our baptism.
Volunteering Opportunity
We’ll be supplying and serving dinner on Tuesday, February 9th. We ask volunteers to arrive around 4:30pm and stay until 6:30pm.
We are also looking for spaghetti noodles, sauce (red & white), green beans, garlic bread & desserts. Bring them to church by noon on 2/8 or Judy’s house.

CTK SHERWOOD FINANCIAL MANAGER
POSITION EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
The Financial Manager position is 8 to 10 hours weekly with a flexible schedule. The candidate should be committed to Jesus Christ and the financial matters at CTK. The qualified candidate will have a minimum of an AD in Accounting or 2 years of accounting experience in a similar role. Strong interpersonal skills and administrative skills are also necessary. New Partners Class
Our 2020 scrip program gave $566 back to us. This number is understandably down from last year.
To make it easier for you to order we have included an order form. Just click on the link, print the form, choose your scrip cards and mail/drop it to us with a check. It is possible to use a credit card, but they do charge to use it.
Scrip orders generally take a week for pickup.
Remember you can pay off your Kohls bill using scrip cards. Also you can pay on Amazon Smile using an Amazon card. Everyone buys gas and groceries :)

Remember we have gas and grocery cards available for all your shopping needs. Please contact Aubrey by email or phone to let her know what you would like by Tuesday. Scrip that we have on hand will be ready for you to pick up on Thursday. If we order it we will let you know when it comes in. Pickup would be 8:00-1:00 Mon-Thur. Please bring exact amount as we will not have change on hand.
