Get involved and make a difference with CAST and Habitat for Humanity's Faith Build! We still have one date open, and your participation can help create a lasting impact in our community. Additionally, don't miss the opportunity to join the CAST Golf Outing in September, a perfect blend of fun and philanthropy.
Be sure to check out the new leadership for CAST students at the bottom of this newsletter—our future shines bright with these talented individuals leading the way.
Remember, there are many ways to support CAST: by serving, praying, or donating to meet practical needs for the upcoming school year. Your involvement matters!
With gratitude,
Sonja White

Ken Brunner Scholarship
The Ken Brunner Scholarship is established to honor the legacy of Ken Brunner, a dedicated Early College High School Principal who deeply values CAMP and CAST programming. This scholarship aims to recognize the CAMP student who demonstrates exceptional commitment through their service hours with CAST, embodying Ken Brunner's belief in the potential of his students to make a positive impact in their community. By rewarding the student with the most serving hours, the scholarship celebrates both their dedication to service and Ken Brunner's legacy of fostering student excellence.

CASTKids are heading back to School!
|
Please join us as we pray for all of the students CAST has the honor to do life alongside this school year. Over the next month, please consider taking a moment to pray for:
- Student growth both inside and outside of the classroom.
- Students to build lasting and impactful friendships with their peers.
- The teachers and building administration at each school.
- Students to love Caring and Serving Together within their community.

If you would like to purchase any of the needed supplies to help make #CASTkids possible this school year, please use the button to email Taylor, Student CAST Coordinator. She will coordinate a convenient time to pick up your generous donation.
|
Our after-school programming which impacts over 200 students a school year is our favorite way to bless our community and the students within it. Last school year thanks to our #CASTKids programming we spent over 130 hours volunteering alongside, mentoring, and positively impacting student lives.
Even more impressive is the 849 hours that students spent volunteering within their community.
#CASTkids empowers students to make a difference both inside and outside of the classroom by engaging students in hands-on service learning projects during the school year.
Since its beginning in 2011, #CASTkids has remained a free program for all of our schools. Help us continue impacting students and our community this school year by picking up a much-needed supply (or two) the next time you stop by the store or consider adding them to your Amazon cart.

Tooba Sindu
12th Grade, CAST Co-President
| "I have been a CAST member for about 3 years and my favorite CAST memory is camping with my friend Al in Aliquippa. In addition to CAST, I am the president of the student council and the science club, Vice president of the math club, treasurer for interact club, and a member of NHS, CAMP, and several college planning programs. To be completely honest, despite being involved in a lot, CAST is my most favorite club I have joined." | | |

Nicholas Sharpe
12th Grade, CAST Co-President
| "I have been a member of CAST since my sophomore year of High School. My favorite memory of CAST is volunteering at the Humaine Society and being able to walk the dogs on a trail. Not only am I a co-president of CAST but I am also the co-president of the science club, a member of Model UN, Interact Club, Pep Club, Upward Bound, NHS, a part of the student council, and on the McK tennis team. Out of all these extracurriculars CAST will forever be my favorite. I have created such great bonds with more to come." | | |
