“Jesus said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses,
so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”
-- 2 Corinthians 12:9
The hallways are always busier this time of year with the beginning of the fall semester with many new and returning students. Each is starting a new year, whether he or she is a freshman, senior, graduate student, or adult accelerated. There is excitement, but also hesitation with the question, "Can I do this?" Our Bible theme for this academic year is “Sufficient Grace in God’s Perfect Power.” We all sometimes question, "Can I do this?" We are not perfect and sometimes feel inadequate, but we need to look at our circumstances through the eyes of God. Yes, we can do this with the help of God, along with the help from each other.
Please review the articles and links below to see how you can stay involved with each other, CUW, our students, and continue to grow. If you are in the area, please contact me so I can show you what is new and update you on alumni resources available to you.

CUW welcomes new faculty
CUW's classrooms and hallways are full of hundreds of new faces this semester, and 12 of those are new, full-time faculty members.
All of them are committed Christians who hold advanced degrees in their academic areas (10 of them with terminal degrees). At faculty orientation, these newest classroom leaders learned about what excellent teaching means at Concordia, ways to connect Christian faith with their courses, and university expectations for research and scholarship. To meet them, click here .
