Nosh and Drash is a safe space for open, judgement-free dialogue to discuss current events and the world for 8th-12th graders. Dinner is included.

Current 7th graders are welcome to stay after regular Zayin class for dinner to see if they'll enjoy this program next year.

Rosh Hodesh & Shevet, powered by Moving Traditions
It’s not easy being a teenager. This is why Bet Torah offers Rosh Hodesh (for young women) and Shevet (for young men). Once a month, in small peer groups with trained adult mentors, teens bond and have open conversations in a safe space. Teens who identify as transgender, nonbinary, gender fluid, or gender questioning can participate in a national online group, Tzelem .

Our Taste of Nosh and Drash and Moving Traditions programs will include an introduction to TLC for current 7th graders, followed by samples of Rosh Hodesh and Shevet for the young women and young men. We'll conclude the program with a brief "Nosh-style" discussion and pizza.
On Sunday, zayin students participated a Madrichim workshop. The application for Madrichim 2019-2020 is open.

Madrichim (Teachers Assistants) in 8th-12th grade serve as role models, working with teachers to create a positive environment throughout the Kulanu Learning Program. Participation in Madrichim requires an application .
