At the end of every academic year, Bet Torah has been proud to present the Ida and Daniel Lang Scholarship to a deserving high school senior in the Bet Torah Community who has demonstrated, through scholastic excellence, service to the Jewish community, and good citizenship, those traits of character most likely to lead to mature and dedicated involvement in Jewish life.
Applications are due at noon on Monday, May 11. The award will be presented on Sunday, May 17 at Zimriyah over Zoom.
Blessing for High School Graduates
Please note a new date change: Friday, June 5, 5:30 p.m.

We invite you to mark the class of 2020's transition from high school to the next phase of life.

While we are not sure whether they will be away or online next year we want to take the time to mark this important transition.
5:30 p.m. - Rabbi Brusso will lead a conversation during which parents and teens will have a chance to speak to each other about the meaning of this transition.

Teen and parents are asked to please log on to the Zoom on different devices. (Computers are recommended over phones or tablets.)

6:30 p.m. - Friday night services will include a ritual of leave-taking and we will offer a blessing to the new graduates as they go on their way. Grandparents and others are welcome to join us on the Kabbalat Shabbat Zoom to see us bless these graduates.

This event is password protected with the main Bet Torah password. Please text Loen if you need help.
