Call for Veterans and Active Duty Military to Submit Artwork

This annual exhibition celebrates those who have served in the U.S. military. Artists may submit up to three works, and all media are welcome. Perkins is proud to offer memberships to veterans to participate in this show, as well as all other Perkins veterans programs.

Artwork Drop-off Dates: November 7 from 10 AM to 2 PM, November 8 from 10 AM to 4 PM

Downtown Trenton Holiday Storefront Mural Contest

Call for Trenton Artists and Businesses

This project, coordinated by Isles, pairs local artists and designers with downtown businesses to create festive window displays throughout the holiday season. Each participating business will showcase a one-of-a-kind, artist-designed storefront window that celebrates Trenton’s creativity and community spirit. This year’s contest will include 10 businesses and 10 paid artists, with the top three designs selected by an online public vote.​

Trenton Arts Fellowship

The mission of the Trenton Arts Fellowship, cosponsored by Mercer County Community College and Princeton University’s Lewis Center for the Arts, is to support local Trenton artists by providing studio space on the MCCC Trenton campus, resources, programming opportunities, mentorship, and research funds, in order to assist the artists in creating impactful work that would engage with the Trenton community.

2026 Access/VSA Emerging Young Artists Program: We Hold These Truths

Call for U.S.-based Visual Artists (Ages 16 - 25) Identifying as Disabled+

A jury will select fifteen artists to each receive a $3,000 financial stipend, have one of their submitted pieces appear in a national exhibition, and attend a series of all-expenses-paid professional development workshops at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. March 10 - 14, 2026.

The National Endowment for the Arts and Arts Midwest are now accepting applications for the 2026 - 27 cycle of the NEA Big Read, a national program that offers matching grants of up to $20,000 to support community-wide reading programs. This year’s NEA Big Read will center around the theme America250, honoring the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, marking America’s semiquincentennial.

Tactics to Avoid Art Censorship Online

Join the National Coalition Against Censorship, Don’t Delete Art, and Lawyers for the Creative Arts for a conversation about art censorship and strategies that can help artists share artistic work while minimizing the risk of getting banned/shadow banned, downranked, or flagged as inappropriate content. This program will cover tips, including how captions and hashtags impact art censorship online. Plus, you’ll gain information on what to do if you are told that your work or account has violated “community guidelines,” and learn about Don’t Delete Art’s advocacy and support programs. This free educational program will be followed by a question and answer session.

The George Family Center for Healing Arts at Rowan University is seeking a Visual Artist in Residence to provide engaging, hands-on arts experiences for staff and providers at the Child Abuse Research Education and Service Institute (CARES) at Rowan-Virtua Medicine. The artist will lead one-on-one sessions, group workshops, and community art initiatives that promote healing, connection, and creative expression in clinical settings. Creative Capital Artist Lab is an online professional development curriculum designed to help artists working at any career stage, and in any discipline, build thriving practices. courses are created by art professionals, industry experts, and fellow artists who share vital concepts, skills, and tools to grow artists’ careers.
