New Jersey Heritage Fellowship Grant Program Rules and Instructions Now Available! |
The New Jersey State Council on the Arts will award up to ten New Jersey Heritage Fellowships to exemplary folk and traditional artists. These Fellowships, which come with an award of $20,000 each, recognize lifetime achievement, artistic excellence, and contributions to our state's living traditional arts heritage.

Creative Aging Initiative Guidelines Now Available |
The Creative Aging Initiative Grant provides $10,000 to eligible arts organizations, libraries, veterans homes, senior and community centers, colleges/universities, and units of government to cover costs for arts learning experiences with New Jersey older adults aged 55 and over. Successful applicants will receive $10,000 of funding for each year of the two-year grant cycle, pending available resources.
Technical assistance available through February 2025.

These virtual sessions serve as a platform for teaching artists to share their experiences, discuss new opportunities, and connect with each other and the State Arts Council. FY 2026 Performing Arts Global Exchange |
Performing Arts Global Exchange (PAGE) is a nationwide program designed to increase availability of international performing arts programming throughout the United States and to promote a greater understanding of other cultures through the performing arts. Through the PAGE program, the NEA will award funds to a U.S. Regional Arts Organization (RAO) to provide subawards to nonprofit arts presenters located anywhere in the United States and its territories that contract performing artists from the PAGE roster, curated annually by the RAO. An emphasis is placed on funding projects in underserved communities that have little access to this type of artistic work.

Applications are now open for NEA Big Read grants to support community-wide reading programs between September 2025 and June 2026 under the new theme, “Our Nature: How Our Physical Environment Can Lead Us to Seek Hope, Courage, and Connection.” An initiative of the National Endowment for the Arts, in partnership with Arts Midwest, the NEA Big Read supports a range of events and activities designed around a single NEA Big Read book.
