Volunteer for VBS

Vacation Bible School is coming to First Farragut, and this is one of the most meaningful ways you can make an impact! We need YOU to help kids experience the love of Jesus. Whether you’re serving in a classroom, leading games, or helping in the kitchen, there’s a place for you. VBS runs June 15–18, 5:45–8:30 PM each night. Help Us Build Homes & Hope in Loudon County!

Our church is teaming up with other local congregations to assist Habitat for Humanity in constructing one or more homes in Loudon County. This is a great volunteer opportunity for us to meaningfully change a family’s life in our community.

Whether you enjoy hands-on construction work, painting, clean up, or preparing lunches for the construction crew, there is an opportunity for everyone to participate.

Vacation Bible School: Kingdom Quest

We are so excited to bring back Vacation Bible School this summer, happening June 15–18 from 5:45 pm-8:15 pm each night! VBS is open to children from birth through 5th grade, and this year’s theme is Kingdom Quest: An Epic Journey to Discover God’s Kingdom. Registration opens on Easter Sunday, and spots are limited, so be sure to sign up early!

A Night at the Ballpark



Join FFUMC at the Smokies game on July 31st at 7:00 PM. Tickets are $21 per person if we qualify for a group rate (25 individuals). Please register by June 30 so we can determine the size of our group by visiting ffumc.org/events.

Adult Mission Trip – Hinton Rural Life Center

Are you ready to serve in mission through FFUMC? We are planning a mission trip for adults to serve through the Hinton Center in Hayesville, NC from October 21 through October 25. No matter what your skillset may be, there is a place for you to serve! This trip is open for all adults. 

Schedule:

10/21 – Arrive in Hayesville for dinner and orientation

10/22 – 10/24 – Workdays and Programming

10/25 – Enjoy breakfast, worship, and depart

Cost is $425 per person and will include all meals, materials, projects, programming, and sleep accommodations (private rooms & bathrooms). Individuals are responsible for their own transportation (carpool available).

After registering, you will receive an email with more details required from the Hinton Center and the process to pay for the trip.
