Fall Concert Series
Begins October 21 at 6:30 PM
Join us on Wednesday evening, October 21, at 6:30 PM for the first of our Fall Concert Series. Come and enjoy a concert of praise and worship music by some of our musicians in the parking lot. Please bring your own chairs and be prepared to continue to follow mask and distancing guidelines.
Let’s paint!
On Sunday, October 25 at 3:00 pm we will get together in the church parking lot to paint pumpkins! The church will provide small individual foam pumpkins for everyone, so please RSVP to Paige Morgan by October 18.

This will be a great time of fellowship for all ages and we encourage you to invite your friends, neighbors, etc. We will be using acrylic paint so dress accordingly. CDC guidelines will be followed.
CCD 2020 Reservations
CCD 2020 needs your help to take reservations on November 6 and 7. Because of COVID restrictions, we cannot ask families to come to the church to make reservations. Instead we are planning to take phone reservations. We will use purchased cell phones with prepaid minutes to take calls on November 6 and 7 and gather information about family needs. Reservations can be taken in your home where you can remain isolated.

We need 12 servant volunteers (8 English speakers and 4 Spanish speakers) to sign up for 4-hour shifts. Shifts are 8:00-Noon and 1:00-5:00 p.m. both days. You will be trained before the calls and enter information on a paper call guide.

Please let us know if you can commit to a 4-hour shift, and if so, which shift you prefer. Thank you for helping us present our 13th CCD in a very difficult time! Email Laura Derr at l_derr@prospectman.com.
Donations
We are in the process of planning Christmas with the Community Day (CCD), which will be held on Sunday, December 6th. In “normal” times, we would love to do everything that we have done in the past. Unfortunately, these aren’t normal times. We will distribute necessities, food, and toys at CCD. We will distribute books, coats, underwear, socks, and shoes at a different time and in a different way.

Due to this year’s circumstances, we are requesting monetary donations for toys instead of actual toy donations. We will bulk purchase specific toys for each age group, which will be bagged and placed in cars. If you would like to contribute, you may give online or mail a check to the church by November 20. Please designate it as CCD TOYS. If you have any questions about toys, please contact Kathy Cleveland or Karen Warnick. If you have questions about CCD during a pandemic please contact Lynn Kirchner, 965-659-0264, with ideas or concerns.
