You are invited to help us usher in the holiday season with a special Hanging of the Greens worship service on December 1. During the service, we will symbolically adorn the Worship Center with festive decorations in preparation for the Advent and Christmas season.

FISH Christmas Cards

FISH Christmas Cards are a perfect gift to share the spirit of Christmas! These cards cost $5 each and benefit the FISH Hospitality Pantries in Knoxville. $5 feeds a family of four for 3 days. Cards will be available in the main hallway on Sunday, December 1 - December 15.

The FISH Hospitality Pantries support our West Knox FISH Pantry, FFUMC’s Back-To-School Mobile Pantry, and our Christmas Community Day ministries with free bread. FISH Christmas cards are the major annual fundraiser for the Hospitality Pantries. 

Community Christmas Day - December 8, 2024

CCD is one of the largest missional events our church sponsors each year. Last year FFUMC supported well over 200 families with groceries, clothing, toys, and more. If you would like to volunteer at CCD this year, please sign up for a time and area of service at the Missions Collection Center in the main hallway.

Breakfast with Santa

Join us for Breakfast with Santa on December 14 from 9 am to 11 am! We will have crafts, games, breakfast, Santa’s gift shop – where kids can pick out a gift for an adult/sibling, and a Photo opportunity with Santa and Mrs. Claus!

Cost is $5 per person, with a max of $15 per family! Cash will be taken at the door. 

We are also looking for volunteers to assist with Breakfast with Santa on Friday, December 13, and Saturday, December 14th! Please review the available slots and signup if available by clicking HERE.

Our Daily Bread Christmas Luncheon

Join us for a festive Christmas Luncheon at Calhoun's in Turkey Creek! We’ll gather in the banquet room on Sunday, December 15th at 12:30 PM.

Buffet Menu:

• Fresh salad
• Two delicious meat entrees with side dishes
• Cake for dessert

This is a pre-paid event, with a cost of $35 per person. Please secure your spot by placing a check in the offering box, noting "Christmas Lunch ODB" in the memo line. Your payment will serve as confirmation for attendance. For more information, contact Tracy Houser at 865-771-4904.

Children’s Christmas Musical

Wednesday, December 18 at 6:00 pm

You're invited to celebrate this Christmas season with the kids of First Farragut UMC through a dramatic presentation of the birth of Jesus Christ. WOW! is a new nativity play for kids featuring several of your favorite Christmas carols. So put on your favorite Christmas sweater, and join us in a special remembrance of what Christmas is all about.

Join us for a special service featuring the scriptures and songs of Christmas. We'll tell the story of Jesus' birth spanning the Old and New Testaments through readings and music. This service will feature a choir, soloists, a full band, and a string quartet. Everyone is welcome!

Join us on December 24 at 5:00 PM for a sacred Candlelight-Communion Christmas Eve service as we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. This cherished tradition will feature beloved carols, a retelling of the nativity story, and the glow of candlelight symbolizing Christ’s light in the world. Children will enjoy a special moment during the service designed just for them with a special take-home activity for the whole family. Together, we will receive Holy Communion, reflecting on God’s gift of grace at Christmas.
