Sharing the love of Jesus by welcoming, connecting, and serving.
A Special Request from KARM
During the “Safer At Home” order, many families chose to clean out their closets, basements, and garages. KARM Stores has been the recipient of lots of new donations, to the point of being overwhelmed. With people now allowed to leave their homes, we need volunteers at every KARM Stores location to sort through these donations.

If you organize a group, please contact volunteer@karmstores.com and provide the following information. If you would like to serve as an individual, contact KARM using the same email address.
  • Number of people in the group
  • Age of the group
  • Preferred days / times to serve
  • Preferred locations

Volunteers will need to bring their own mask when serving at KARM Stores and be prepared to have a good time working alongside our team. Help us turn these generous donations into dollars to support Knox Area Rescue Ministries.
Opportunity to Serve Others
FFUMC supports the Society of Saint Andrew in collecting leftover food from vendors, farmers, providers and farmers’ markets. Every third and fourth Saturday presents an opportunity for a few people from FFUMC to “glean” from the farmers market that meets in the Renaissance Center across from the church. If you would like to help meet the needs of many who are hungry in our community by serving, please contact Alvin Jenkins, a.l.jenkins@att.net .
Virtual Fellowship Opportunity - Thursdays at 6:30 PM
As we journey through the Back to Our Roots sermon series, we’ll see throughout the book of Acts a common thread of communities of faith gathering together for fellowship, teaching, and prayer. Join us at 6:30 PM Thursday for virtual fellowship as we shelter at home. Please email Renni Morris so we can send you the information for joining the session. These sessions are led by Renni Morris or Pastor Martha and are an informal time for us share together and pray and support each other.
A "Behind the Scenes" Opportunity
As we prepare to move back to in-person worship, streaming worship will continue as it will still be unsafe for many of our church family to return. A small team of folks have been working diligently to set us up to with the proper equipment and technical abilities. With the addition of streaming worship, we’re in need of three volunteers per Sunday to serve in the technical aspects (audio, visual, and streaming). Hands on training will be provided. Please consider serving in this capacity. Technology is a “behind the scenes” opportunity but make no mistake, if we’ve learned anything during this pandemic it's that technology plays a key role in reaching people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This is a  very  important role. Contact Randee Schoenike to serve in this capacity.
