LEEP Internship

The Lazarus Energy Empowerment Program (LEEP) is now accepting application from current sophomores and juniors.

The goal of the program is to expose and equip well deserving high school juniors and seniors with the skills that they will need to achieve their goals and realize their full potential. After completing the program, young people feel more empowered, confident, and prepared for college and the workforce.

Applicants need to be able to work on Saturdays from 9am until 3pm (6 hours) during the summer and the school year and complete 4 hours of tasks during the week. Since this can conflict with other activities, applicants will have to consider their other commitments. Applicants must be willing to invest time into starting the program on Saturday, June 3, 2023 and completing the program on Saturday, May 18, 2024.

The application is open and available at this link. The deadline is April 3, 2023 at 5:00 PM. A resume and cover letter must also be emailed to [email protected]. Virtual interviews will occur once after applications are submitted. Applicants will be notified by May 8th of their status.

Discover U

Through personalized mentoring and the provision of systemic supports, DiscoverU helps youth successfully apply and gain admission to and complete high-quality, out-of-school learning experiences that empower them with the skills, confidence, and mindsets to advocate for their own success.

DiscoverU provides a database of Fantastic Learning Opportunities for students to apply to. Some programs are free and others have a cost.
