KPS aims to provide energy at a lower cost than conventional on and offshore wind turbines, using 85% less material. They have a complete, patented and innovative system to optimise cost, market penetration and durability.
 
KPS can access wind energy that conventional methods cannot : in deeper seas where turbines can’t be built; at higher altitudes where the winds are stronger; in locations where power generation is required temporarily and in remote areas and those affected by disasters that need emergency power supplies.

  • The KPS business model is capital light, focused on technology development, sales and service, leveraging manufacturing and supply chain innovation, and strategic partnerships with in-country distributors.
  • Confidence in the technology and exceptional engineering skill set has been validated by KPS' current shareholders E.ON, Shell and Scottish Investment Bank.
  • Engagement with KPS gives participation in floating offshore wind, a large future market opportunity evolving at pace and with greater market potential than fixed foundation.

KPS are now completing their A2 round which will progress a 500kW array demonstration project (first revenues), develop sales, supply chain and routes to market. The Shareholders and Management Team target an exit within 5 years via IPO or trade sale to an OEM.
