Summer Food Assistance for

Henrico Senior Adults

Volunteer Donors Needed

This summer, Henrico Community Foodbank is partnering with the Better Housing Coalition to distribute food to 150 seniors in Carter Woods Apartments - a low income housing     community for seniors.

The Gayton Kirk has been invited to partner in this project by pledging to provide 10 bags of food. Each bag will cost about $20 to fill. We are seeking individuals to pledge to donate filled bags.

How can you help?

1 - Email Stacy Deyerle at sdeyerle@hotmail.com to sign up (or reply to this message). Please indicate how many bags you will donate. Please respond by May 20(If we have enough participants by this date, we can pledge to give more bags.)

2 - Shop for the items on the list below and fill your bag.

3 - Label your bag with a post-it or piece of paper attached that says “Attention Stacy Deyerle: HCFB.”

4 - Drop your bag off to the Kirk no later than Sunday, July 10Please send Stacy a quick email to let her know, since she will be out of town for awhile. (You may drop your bags off
