The Sunny Side Marketing Newsletter
Hello Optimist,

And hello to all District Marketing Chairs and District Leaders! Welcome to the first edition of “The Sunny Side,” Optimist International’s official Marketing Department newsletter.

Our objective in sending you this publication is twofold; first, to improve our communications with you, and second, to provide a variety of marketing and promotional materials for your District and the Optimist Clubs and Members it serves.

Our goal is to publish this newsletter monthly. Each will include downloadable images, website links, motivational stories and presentations you can use to promote Optimist International’s programs, activities and events to the Clubs and Members in your District – and to the public.

Let’s make this newsletter a useful and valuable communication tool!

After you’ve reviewed the newsletter and used its promotional materials, let us know what you liked and what you didn’t. Tell us what we can do to make the newsletter a better marketing and informational tool for you.

Also, send us positive and optimistic stories you would like to share with other Optimists. We may include them in future newsletters!

Together we can make Optimist International’s marketing and branding efforts a big success. We’re looking forward to hearing from you!

All the best,
Past International President, Nick Prillaman

Of course not. You change the batteries.

When a person messes up or finds themselves in a dark place, do you cast them aside?

Of course not. You help them change their batteries. Some need AA – attention and affection; some need AAA – attention, affection, and acceptance; some need C – compassion; and some need D – direction.

And what if they still don’t seem to shine?

Then simply sit with them quietly and share your light.
