We could not have done it without the help of our many volunteers and District Chairs. They put in long hours, for those who attend it’s on their own. They do it for the love of the game, the kids and giving back to their communities.

Global Spotlight for August 2021
What are our international Clubs doing to make a difference in their community and what New Clubs have formed?

Looking back on the fun we had at the 2021 International Convention in Atlanta!

Check the Optimist.org/convention page for more videos and photos to come!

We want to thank all who were able to attend the 103rd Optimist International Convention in-person or virtually. Here is a gimps of what is in store for next year in RENO!
A reminder that all elected officers need to complete their LMS training! As you prepare for your district conventions, have those elected officers register and access LMS prior to the date in order to properly onboard them, if they have any questions, etc. Officer-elect instructions with promo codes can be found below. If you are a current officer, you have until September 30 to complete that training unless you have already done so. All questions and concerns can be directed to Megan Pellock at LMS@optimist.org

Become an Honor Club by supporting the CCOF
Would your Club like to achieve the status of Honor Club? To do so, your Club must nominate a Club Foundation Representative (also known as a CFR) and make an unrestricted donation of at least $100 to the Canadian Children’s Optimist Foundation (CCOF).
Each year, the CCOF supports financially many scholarships to young Canadians, in addition to offering grants for community or health-related Club projects and providing receipts for tax purposes to donors of numerous Outsourcing projects.
Invest today for the future of our youth! Make a Club donation to the Canadian Children’s Optimist Foundation and help us go the extra mile for children and youth. For more information, visit ccof-foec.org
