Fall means back to school! Shown here in their MBKU hats, SCCO welcomes the incoming Class of 2017 whose members will be the first class to attend all four years under our new banner of Marshall B. Ketchum University.
The Class of 2017 Stats:
- There are 68 women and 34 men
- Represent 14 states and 1 Canadian province
- Average age is 24 years old
- Average GPA 3.39
- There are 8 who are children of ODs, 1 student represents the 4th generation in optometry
- Represent 46 different college and universities
- 18 from UCI
- 17 from UCLA
- 10 from UCSD
- 4 from BYU Idaho
- 56 total from the University of California system

About Marshall B. Ketchum University
Established in 1904, the Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University is a private, non-profit, educational institution.
