Or Shalom Community Retreat

We had another incredible year at Walker Creek Ranch! Between connecting spiritually on Shabbat, trips to the pond, beautiful nature walks, and an uproarious talent show, it was a beautiful weekend.  Special thanks to everyone who lead a workshop this weekend:

Daniel Raskin, Daniel Najjar, Bryna Rifkind, Beth Mills, and Chad Balch

Many thanks to Debbie Benrubi for the planning and organization of a wonderful weekend.  Organizing a 3-day event for 80+ people is no small feat!

SF Queer Historic Places: Meaning, Value and Use

    Thursday 6/13 6:00pm | 100 Larkin St, SF
This June marks the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots, a perfect moment to discuss the status of historic queer sites and queer public history in San Francisco. As some of those essential queer heritage institutions, sites and even whole neighborhoods are erased by hypergentrification, we want to take a moment to reflect on where we are and where we want to go in the future. Panel discussion to include Tania Jimenez of El/La Para Trans Latinas, Gerard Koskovich and Terry Beswick of the GLBT HIstorical Society, and Gayle Rubin. Moderated by Carol Queen of the Center for Sex and Culture. Learn more here!
