Join the GenXish Chavurah in Tennessee Valley. Walk out to the beach (1.7 miles), along the Tennessee Valley Trail, hang for a bit, watch the sunset, and then walk back under the moonrise. Bring a layer and some snacks.

A Holocaust Survivor's Journey Home

Join George Rothman (Father of Liz Isaacs) as he recounts his Holocaust story -- living in a Parisian orphanage -- hiding in plain site. At 91, George recently returned to Paris and was able to visit the orphanage, the church where he had his first communion and confirmation, and recount his story (in French!).

Join Ross Matican for Shiva as he mourns the loss of his grandmother, Laura Rowen Siegel

Ross writes of his grandmother: "Grandma Laura was unconditionally loving, defiantly open-minded, insatiably curious, and a tremendously positive influence in who I am today."

1 Bedroom/1 Bath Cottage for Rent at 331a Cortland Ave
The cottage behind the main building on Cortland will be available to rent in early October. The space was completely renovated in 2022 and will have an in-unit washer-dryer. Given the cottage's location, we would like to spread the word in finding a tenant through our membership.
