Sharon Brannigan (in pink top) enters a packed Palos Township board meeting in May of this year.
AAAN, and a broad community coalition on Monday, August 13th, at 6PM
for yet another rally at the Palos
Township monthly meeting, where we have been protesting and demanding accountability for the past 14 months.
Our commUNITY will gather to say no to Palos Township trustee Sharon Brannigan's hate, bigotry, racism, and white supremacy in our township. Silence is not an option during moments of crisis, especially when our communities are under attack.
Last month, after a rally marking the one-year anniversary of the #ResignBrannigan campaign, over 100 of our community members staged a silent walkout during the township meeting and continued to rally and chant outside.
AAAN youth organizers protest near Brannigan's place of business last week.
As we continue to escalate this campaign outside of the monthly meetings, we must keep up the pressure to show Sharon and the other trustees that we will not stop protesting and calling for her resignation until we win!
