Latest news on how your support changes lives
February 2018
One in three teens in the U.S. will experience physical, sexual or emotional abuse by someone they are in a relationship with before they become adults.

CCS refuses to accept this. We invite you to join us in the prevention of teen dating violence. Individuals deserve healthy relationships based on equality and respect. Throughout Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month, we will be sharing ways in which you can join the conversation.

Volunteer Spotlight
SART with a Heart

On January 19th, CCS SART Advocate, Liza Pinard, was the recipient of this year's "SART Response with a Heart Award" from the San Diego County Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) at their annual event.

This event celebrates the work of various members of the San Diego SART team such as nurses, victim advocates, law enforcement, district attorneys, and support staff who work together in a victim-sensitive program responding to sexual assaults in our community.

Liza volunteers her time with CCS as a SART victim advocate.  We could not do this work without Liza and all our SART advocates.  Congratulations Liza!
