Power of the Pen to States!
The Brady Middle School Power of the Pen team of Anna Wolf, Gabe Feinberg, Joy Utech and Mira Batra qualified for State Competition at the College of Wooster on Friday, May 24, 2019. Good luck writers!

Brady Book Club Partakes in Festival!
The Brady Middle School 7th and 8th grade Book Club recently participated in the 2019 Sixth District Compact Reading Writing Festival held at Kent State University. They are required to read six books throughout the year and meet for discussion and activities related to the books. The culminating festival gave students the opportunity to participate in breakout sessions. Awards were also presented for Group Writing to Audrey Shefrin, Mira Batra, Beth Halloran, and Quinnie Van de Walle, and for Journalism writing to Gabe Fineberg.
Orange Schools Earn Top Rating from Moody's - 14 Years
The Orange City School District has affirmed its Aaa Rating from Moody’s Investors Service. Orange is the only K-12 Ohio School District to hold the top credit rating from two agencies - Moody's and Standard and Poor’s. Orange Schools first earned this status 14 years ago.

“A combination of the support the community has shown for the Orange Schools over the years along with the due diligence by the District staff in its financial management efforts and in preparing our immense official statement has led to this outstanding accomplishment,” said Mr. Todd Puster, Treasurer of the Orange Schools (pictured right).
Good Luck Dazzle Award Nominees!
Orange High School received two nominations by the Playhouse Square Dazzle Awards for the musical Chicago "High School Edition" produced in April 2019. OHS junior Roxanne Popovsky (pictured here) was nominated for "Best Actress in a Musical" for her role as "Roxie Hart," and the OHS Pit Orchestra was nominated for "Best Student Orchestra." The Dazzle Awards will be hosted at the Connor Palace Theater at Playhouse Square on May 18, 2019. read more
OHS Excels in Excel TECC
Ten Orange High School students earned 18 awards in various 2018-19 Excel TECC programs. In Studio Art and Design: senior Carly Stark (6), senior Samantha Richards (3), and junior Zehra Gungor received awards. In Marketing: seniors Ally Marchewitz, Camryn Milstein and Ashley Shagrin all were recognized. In Medical Technologies: senior Marisha Syed and junior Jessica Lebowitz received recognition. Earning Excel TECC Departmental Senior Awards were Lauren Hill in Cosmetology, Cameron Johnson in Digital Arts and Technology, and Maggie Lang in Teaching. Excel TECC serves 10 school districts and offers more than 25 unique programs.
