OHS Model U.N. Best in CLE
Great job by the Orange High School Model United Nations team which defended its title and won first place in this year’s Cleveland Council of World Affairs Winter Model UN Conference held last month at Lorain County Community College. Delegates from OHS did an outstanding job by earning three Honorable Mentions, a Position Paper Award, two Superior Delegate Awards and two Gavel Awards.
Homework Help @ Library
Did you know that the Orange Branch of the Cuyahoga County Public Library offers free after-school homework help to students in grades K – 8? An experienced educator is available to provide students with homework assistance on Monday through Thursday from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. No registration required; just drop in!
OHS' Heiss Named Kiwanis Student of the Month
The Kiwanis Club of Lander Circle named Orange High School senior Ethan Heiss as its January 2018 Kiwanis Senior of the Month. Each year the Kiwanians’ Youth Services Committee works with Orange High School staff members to recognize seniors who have shown significant contributions of dedicated service to the school community, civic involvement, exemplary integrity, and attributes of leadership through actions and character, and academic achievement.
