School Resource Officer Valuable Asset to Students
There was some misleading information in the media recently regarding the credentials of School Resource Officers across Northeast Ohio.

To set the record straight, Officer Todd Bennett of the Pepper Pike Police Department has served the Orange Schools as a fully credited School Resource Officer (SRO) since 2004. He is currently certified by the Ohio School Resource Officers Association (OSROA) as a MASTER SRO.

Officer Todd is a proven and valuable asset to students, families, administrators and staff members. He continues to develop a positive connection with our students with a focus on prevention initiatives and proactive intervention. He has taught in classrooms, been involved in community forums, and is actively involved with various school safety and security committees. Thank you for all you do, Officer Todd!
Students Plan Diversity Day
Orange High School held its first Diversity Day intersession last month with student facilitated group discussions, a unity/cultural fair, and speaker Dr. Terrell L. Strayhorn who spoke to students on issues of equity and diversity. The guest speaker was funded in part by the Maltz Museum. See Photos
Policies in Place for Vaping
As reported recently in the local media, vaping among teenagers continues to rise and school districts across the state, including Orange, have implemented policies and discipline procedures to help address this matter. We received some questions from parents regarding vaping. What is it? How are students disciplined? Please visit our website for more information
Tennis Courts Closed for Season
Please note that with the winter weather approaching, the tennis courts on the Orange Schools Campus are now closed for the season. They will reopen in the spring. Thank you for your understanding.
