Good Luck to Orange Wind Ensemble at States!

The Orange High School Wind Ensemble will perform at State Contest on Friday, April 20th at 8:45 p.m. in the North Royalton High School Gymnasium. It is free and open to the public. This is the first time the Orange HS Band has ever gone to State Contest! They qualified for the State-level event by earning a Superior rating at the March 2018 Ohio Music Education Association Large Group Contest. Students paraded today by the OHS Drum Line/Lionettes

OHS Students Receive Technology Honor

Six Orange High School students in the Excel TECC program were inducted last week into the National Technical Honor Society. They include Spencer Chernikoff (Marketing), Leanna Effron (Travel and Tourism), Maggie Lang (TEACH), Meghan Simon (Marketing), Jake Sonkin (Marketing), and Caleb Zwick (Marketing). These students had to achieve a 3.5 overall GPA and a 4.0 GPA in their program to be eligible for this honor.

Congratulations Student Athletes

Three Orange High School student athletes signed their intent-to-play letters for college last week. Pablo Garcia will play football for Case Western Reserve University. Nick Garofoli will play baseball for Washington and Jefferson College, and Adam Marcus will play golf for Muhlenberg College. All three students sited the academic strengths of these universities in the areas that interest them along with the athletic opportunities.

Mandatory Fall Sports Parent Meeting, May 14

There will be a Fall Sports Mandatory Parent Meeting on May 14, 2018 at 6 p.m. in the Orange High School Auditorium. This meeting is for all parents of students going into grades 9-12 for the 2018-2019 school year who are interested in participating in a fall sport.

Also, free physicals through University Hospitals will be offered on June 8, 2018 for Orange Schools student-athletes at UH Ahuja Medical Center. Space will be limited, so registering as soon as possible is important. Registration Information
