Power of Pen Excels at Districts
The Brady Middle School Power of the Pen teams had an outstanding showing at the District Tournament earlier this month. Both the seventh and eighth grade teams won team trophies, placing an impressive third out of all of the 16 competing schools.
OHS Students' Artwork & Writing Recognized, Displayed
2019 Scholastic Art and Writing Awards
Orange High School students received more than 40 gold and silver keys and honorable mentions for art in the 2019 Scholastic Art and Writing Awards.

Beachwood Arts Council Art Show
Four Orange High School students are participating in the 2019 Beachwood Arts Council’s Ileen Kelner Juried High School Art Show. The exhibition will be on view until March 3rd at the Beachwood Community Center. The OHS student artists are senior Katie Hoover, sophomore Kaya Wightman, senior Ethan Geis and senior Nicolle Yankelevich.

Cleveland Clinic Literary eXpressions Program
Orange High School students were recognized by the Cleveland Clinic Literary eXpressions® Program. Gabrielle Uhl won a Blue Ribbon while Elana Rubanenko won a Red Ribbon. Joey Earley, Katherine Hollington, Kennedy Pannell and Ryan Vincent all received a White Ribbon while Jaden Polster earned an Honorable Mention. Their projects will be featured in the eXpressions® catalogue and website and will be displayed at the Great Lakes Science Center.
