Orange Teacher to Present at National Education Conference
Orange School's reputation for innovative learning and authentically engaging work has led to national recognition as the District’s Instructional Mathematics Coach Christa Krohn has been invited to join Paolo DeMaria, Ohio Department of Education’s superintendent of Public Instruction, and Jennifer Poon, director of the Council of Chief State School Officers' Innovation Lab Network, at the SXSWedu Conference on March 8th in Texas for an interactive discussion on “Innovative Assessment and Accountability Demonstration Authority.”

Brady Student Set to Compete at County Spelling Bee
Congratulations to Brady Middle School eighth grader Orly Wolf who won the BMS Spelling Bee and the right to compete at the “ Cuyahoga County Spelling Bee” on March 11, 2017 at Cuyahoga Community College Metro Campus when she spelled "commonwealth" correctly. Wolf, sixth grader Sean Lipton (left), and seventh grader Macy Fletcher (right) had to undergo many rounds of words before winning their grade-level titles.

Orange HS Art Recognition
The success of Orange High School Art students has been showcased in both the recent Scholastic Art Awards Exhibition and the Beachwood Art Show.  The Scholastic Art Awards Exhibition took place at the Cleveland Institute of Art in February 2017.  The Beachwood Art Show is currently on display at the Beachwood Community Center Art Gallery through March 5, 2017.
