Winemakers notes: The production of “Orange” wine starts at the beginning of October with a careful hand harvesting of grapes in the hills of Abruzzo. The grape crushing is soft and the fermentation starts spontaneously thanks to the indigenous yeasts, and it lasts for over 60 days. It is a white grape fermentation but with red winemaking technique. The skins release into the wine their color and aromas, progressively reaching a bright orange color, a silky texture and exotic tropical flavors. The maturation is in steel on the lees for 3 months.
Orange is a natural wine that does not have any type of filtration but only a simple decantation before bottling. This is an ancient method of winemaking as old as wine itself.
Tasting notes: With a slight orange tint this wine hits the palate with a silky texture and exotic tropical fruit flavors. Pop the cork and experience a wine unlike any you've tasted before.
