JUNE IS ORCA ACTION MONTH!

Please join us for a series of events throughout the month of June to celebrate Orca Action Month! Started by Orca Network in 2007, Orca Month is a way to bring people together to celebrate the Southern Resident orcas, raise awareness, and advocate for recovery actions. For 17 years, June has been proclaimed Orca Month by the Governor of Washington. Since 2016, with the help of our partners in the Orca Salmon Alliance, Orca Month has also been celebrated in Oregon and British Columbia. Our Orca Month theme for 2023 is "Lasting Legacies: Honoring the Southern Resident orcas and the 50th anniversary of the Endangered Species Act."
