India's Chaat House brings Indian Street Food to The Mission

The Lotus Family of Restaurants announces their latest Indian restaurant: India's Chaat House.

The first real Chaat House to open in the Mission District of San Francisco, it features popular traditional Indian street food dishes. The address is 3275 22nd St between Valencia and Bartlett Streets in the Mission, right next to the Indian Spices and Groceries shop.

India's Chaat House is family-friendly, great for a date night, or a casual gathering with friends. The newest establishment from the Lotus Family will be run by Manager Dhruba Kunwar who hails from Nepal. Dhru and his team promise service that is fast, friendly and warm.

India's Chaat House will be open from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM Tuesdays through Sundays for Lunch and Dinner and closed on Mondays. The India's Chaat House Menu has all your favorites!

The star attraction is naturally street food! The menu is full of Indian snacks and small meals. Highlights include:

Tandoori Chicken
Chaat Dishes (like Pani Puri)
Nepali MoMo
Lots of Curries
Naan Indian Bread baked in our Clay Tandoor Oven (lots of toppings)
Indian Sweets and Drinks (like Mango Lassi)

Great new location, a grand space on 4th street, beautifully redone, feels as if this is an elegant Indian restaurant that's been here for years. (They have been, just down the street a bit)

The food is consistently good and the experience is wonderful thanks to a second generation of family ownership and a delightful and friendly waitstaff.
