Sibling, Friend, Parent-Child Photos

DEADLINE FEBRUARY 15TH

We are finalizing our schedules and information for Picture Days and Recital.  The schedule for our picture days will be released very soon, and no later than our March Observation week. Please note, this year our picture days will be held over Spring Break this year. We have taken into consideration all known major conflicts. Please let us know no later than March 1st, so we can take that into consideration when finalizing the picture days schedules. We want all children in the group photos as each group photo is incorporated into our annual studio Memory Book, which is a great keepsake for your kids. More on that later.

During the time that is set aside for each class, each child may have an individual photo taken as well, if you want to purchase one. The times we set aside for each class factor in the individual pictures that many of our dancers choose to have taken.  

Parents and Dancers also may be interested in taking a sibling, friend or parent-child photo (for those parents who are in our dance classes). Again this year, we are asking anyone interested in one of these additional photos, to let us know prior to February 15th so that we can designate specific time slots for our staff and photographer.

Backstage Mom Sign Up

We are in need of Backstage Moms to help to make our 2026 Recital run smooth. If you are able to help please follow the link below to sign up! Each backstage mom shift you sign up for will get you two free tickets to the recital of your choice.

January Student Of The Month

Livia Hagen

Livia was chosen as our January Student Of The Month because she is a very hard worker. She comes ready to learn new steps and asks questions on things that she doesn't understand. Livia has decided to step outside of her box and joined our CDA Company this year! Keep up the great work Livia!

Reminder that students can not miss more than 4 classes, per class, between January and Show. This excludesCloser, Production, and Company classes. If you have upcoming events and know your student will be absent, you may make up a class in advance. Simply attend the necessary class and tell the teacher what you are making up for, and they will note it on the studio make up sheet



VIEW ATTENDANCE: You can view your student's absences in the Parent Portal. We also encourage you to submit absences through the parent portal as it will notify the teacher directly with an email notification as well as the office.

MAKE UP: Students can make up in another class at the same level or a similar level. Tech classes can also be taken as make up classes for students in Ballet, Jazz and Tap. If you have any questions about what class your student can take to make up the office or the teacher would be happy to help you.

Valentine's Week Continues

Dancers can wear any Red, Pink, or Purple Attire to class in celebration of Valentine's Day.

February 17th

6:00pm LCHS Dance Team Exhibition

Come support the LCHS Dance Team, which includes some CDA Dancers. Also, additional CDA Company Dancers will be dancing.

February 20th-21st

CDA Company Competes at GEMS

Enjoy watching the livestream as the CDA Company competes at GEMS.
