Order Your Child's House T-Shirt
Each student is a member of a house and receives a new FREE t-shirt each year. Please order your student's shirt and any extra t-shirts you want for just $12.

If we have to place another order later in the year, the price will increase. So, please take advantage of the early bulk pricing.

Submit a separate order for each child's shirt. Deadline to order is Friday, Aug. 9 at 12pm. If we don't receive your order we will guesstimate a size for your child.

Oktoberfest
Sign Up & Help at the 15th Annual St. Benedict Oktoberfest!
Sell tickets, check IDs, serve food, pour beer - whatever you can do, we need your help... and that goes for your friends and family too.

Oktoberfest takes place at our Festplatz in the Church parking lot from Friday Sept. 20 through Sunday, Sept. 22. There are 729 shifts to be filled! So, come one, come all and support this event that benefits, in large part, our school!

This event raises critical funding that helps to keep our tuition stable and provides scholarship dollars to families in need. We welcome over 50,000 guests during the 3-day event and we are counting on everyone to pitch in.

Every family is expected to work at least one shift at Oktoberfest!

These hours count towards your PTO hours and do not require Virtus certification. It's also a great time, and the earlier you sign up - the better your odds at getting your desired time slot! CLICK  HERE  TO SIGN UP.

Note to parents:  Student volunteers are welcome to participate, but must be age 13 to work in Set up/Pack Up or the Children's Area and age 14 to work in Food Concessions or as Food Runners. *Student help only counts as service hours, not family volunteer hours.

School Supply Lists
Check out the  link HERE  for your class supplies shopping list!
Noteworthy
Instead of waiting in line at Welcome Fair (aka Book Day) to pay for your student's  required school   planners  (grades 3-8 only) and required  Class Dues  (all grades), these charges will now be automatically billed to your FACTS account in September.

The planners will be ready in the classrooms for your children on their first day.
VIRTUS Training @ Saint Benedict is AUGUST 15th from 9am-12pm!!
If you are NOT Virtus trained - you need to be! Otherwise you CANNOT volunteer at class parties, help out on field trips or otherwise be an active part in your child's school life (and that's not good!).

Take advantage of this opportunity and earn 3 volunteer PTO hours by attending this session. Register now - register  HERE !
Opening Mass
We begin each school year with Mass at St. Benedict, inviting all school families to join us as we pray for God's blessings on the coming year.

This year's Opening Mass kicks off the year-long celebration of our Centennial and will include members of our foundresses, The Benedictine Sisters of Virginia, members of our Centennial Honorary Board, our alumni, our faculty, our school families and parish families.
Please join us August 25 at 11am at St. Benedict Catholic Church. St. Benedict alumnus Abbot Placid Solari, OSB, '66 of Belmont Abbey College will concelebrate the Mass with our new pastor, Father John David Ramsey. A light reception will follow and volunteer opportunities are available.
