ALL INCLUSIVE BAITED BROWN AND BLACK BEAR

Last spring spot for 2026!

This young up and coming Alaska guide hunts both Afognak island for brown bears as well as Game unit 16 in Southwest Alaska for baited brown bear and black bear. If you are looking for a motivated guide who will do everything possible to make sure you have a trip of a lifetime look no further. His number of repeat clients speak volumes on how hard he works to make sure he delivers on what is promised. Born and raised in Anchorage he is a lifelong Alaska resident and Master Captain.

When you hunt with him, things are different. From the hunts themselves, to the costs. Here, “all inclusive” actually means ALL-INCLUSIVE. From flights, to hunting licenses, land use permit and tags, meals and lodging, even a firearm should you choose! When you book with him, it is all included. Just get to Kodiak or Anchorage, and they will take care of the rest!

Baited Brown bear and Black bear: These baited hunts are conducted in game unit 16. Bears are plentiful in this area as evident by the 2 brown bear and 3 black bear limit you are allowed. With tags available over the counter no need to worry about the draw. You can plan your hunt knowing that you will have a tag in your pocket. These hunts are conducted from comfortable heated elevated blinds. Accommodations are a nice cabin complete with queen beds and home cooked meals. No tents or freeze dried meals here!

7 day 2x1 baited black bear hunt. $7,000 per person. 1x1 $9,000.

7 day 2x1 baited brown bear hunt. $12,000 per person. 1x1 $15,000.

Spice up your hunt with a combo! Black bear, brown bear, moose! Depending on the time of year, all three species are on the table and an option! Each guest is allowed 1 brown and 1 black bear with an additional one bear and moose on a trophy fee basis. Keep in mind, for additional trophies, you must purchase a metal locking tag PRIOR TO TARGETING an additional animal. This cost is payable to the State of Alaska and are available to purchase in the field from the outfitter. This additional tag is not included in your hunt cost. Once you harvest said trophy, at that point your “trophy fee” is due. This is an amazing opportunity hunt for moose in the fall. With Alaska moose hunts on average costing $30,000+ this is an incredible option if the opportunity arises. You only pay a $10,000 trophy fee.

OREGON #265

HELICOPTER ARCHERY ELK HUNT, DEER & TURKEY

Oregon is a sleeper state when it comes to elk as it is talked about very little in comparison to the other western states. However, Oregon has the 3rd highest elk population only trailing Colorado and Montana with an estimated elk population of 133,000. In addition to elk, Oregon also has good populations of mule deer, blacktail deer, whitetail deer and the Columbian whitetail. Not to mention black bear, antelope, mountain goat, big horn sheep and mountain lion. In short Oregon is a hunter’s paradise that is overlooked by many sportsmen.

We at Hunt Nation appreciate that their fully guided hunts are standard 1x1 guiding. With many outfitters doing 2x1 this once again shows his dedication to making your trip a personal experience. The areas they hunt are for the most part public land and vary from desert to subalpine. The guides have spent their whole lives hunting and share the same passion for hunting as the owners. The camps are spacious and well stocked with quality gear and food. Your experience is the most important part of this equation. They work hard to ensure that you have a great time and a quality hunt. From once in a lifetime hunts to yearly hunts with your family or friends and everything in between they are here for you. They offer multi-day hunting trips, drop camps and scouting services for deer, elk, mountain goat, bighorn sheep, antelope, bear in north central and eastern Oregon. Elk and deer tags are outfitter tags that the outfitter has acquired through the ODFW lottery for outfitters. So no drawing and not the expensive cost of similar landowner tags in other states. Turkey tags are available over the counter.

Archery Bull elk in the Lookout Mountain unit. This will be a very unique hunt in that you will be accessing this country via helicopter. Lots of elk in this area and a very high opportunity and success rate on bulls with archery tackle. This hunt can be conducted the first two weeks of the Oregon archery season. Archery 29- September 12th. Terrain is probably average on a physicality scale with the outfitter rating it a 5 or 6. This hunt will be conducted via 1x1 guiding if there are two hunters during the same week. If only one hunter it will be 2 guides for the one hunter. Helicopter costs will depend on if there are either one or two scheduled hunters.

WYOMING #235

RIFLE AND ARCHERY ANTELOPE

This is a family-owned and operated business on some very remote ranchlands in northeast Wyoming. The outfitter hunts his own private ranch and also has leases consisting of about 75 square miles in northeast Wyoming. Nearly 100,000 acres!

Putting in over 150 days a year in the field, he and his guides know the ropes and where to find the game on several hundred thousand acres. That’s why he is so successful, and has been for over 30 years! You will come away a better and more knowledgeable hunter. He closely manages the harvest on his properties to assure guests the opportunity at a trophy animal. Size ranges from 13-15 inches. Lodging is in a 5-bedroom, 2-storey lodge with hot showers and good, basic food.

You will be hunting mainly from blinds over waterholes for the archery hunt. Rifle hunts will consist of driving, spotting antelope and conducting a stock to get within shooting range.

BRITISH COLUMBIA #151

AFFORDABLE HIGH SUCCESS MOOSE

We have worked for many years with this outfitter, almost from his very beginnings. He is a small-volume outfitter that specializes in quality, personalized service and big-time adventure. He takes 13-16 clients per year. He has been hunting, fishing and trapping in northern British Columbia for over 25 years and takes tremendous pride in being able to offer you a high-quality guide service. The outfitter is knowledgeable and enthusiastic, and takes a hands-on approach to every aspect of the operation. With the small number of clients the outfitter accommodates each year, chances are good he’ll be there to personally greet you when you arrive for your once-in-a-lifetime hunting adventure.

Quality moose hunts are in high demand and comparable hunts go for $20k and above. For this reason, his hunts are sold out years in advance. This would be an opening for 2028 for either a single hunter or a pair trying to plan a future trip to fill their hunting schedule.

His moose hunts are done from various camps and in various ways. In his area any bull moose is legal. No antler point restrictions, but most hunters want a good bull of course. Hunts for moose can be tailored to your physical abilities within reason. He hunts using tree stands; and by spot and stalk; and by calling. Just talk to us about your physical abilities, and we will work with you and him to see if his hunts are suitable to you. This outfitter has had years when he’s averaged over 85% on moose, with an amazing average spread of 51-inches. However, we prefer to be conservative and intentionally understate so your expectations remain reasonable. Our clients hunting here have taken bulls in the high 30” range to one over 60”. Incredible for the Canada moose sub-species. The average moose (being conservative) will probably be either side of 44” – a very respectable Canadian moose. We think a patient hunter in good shape, with favorable weather and a bit of luck, should be able to tag a bull in the 45- to 50-inch range. Clients have bagged several monster bulls that have exceeded 55 inches, and one giant that spanned a mammoth 63 inches. Broad, expansive paddles and lots of points mean that an impressive 45-inch bull will score better than a wider 50-incher.

9 day 1x1 hunt. $17,900 for 2028

9 day 2x1 hunt. $13,900 for 2028.

A 25% deposit will lock in your hunt

Does not include R/T $1,600 air charter, license, tags or tax.

ARIZONA/NEW MEXICO #351

AZ COW ELK & NM TROPHY BULL EK

Arizona depredation cow elk: This trip will take place out of Winslow, Arizona with the tag available for purchase over the counter. This hunt will be available from March 1st to May 15th. This is a private ranch consisting of 26,000 acres where the elk are not pressured and stay year round. The terrain will be fairly moderate and not physically difficult which makes it perfect for older hunters or those with disabilities. This is a unique opportunity to hunt cow elk in the spring when hunting opportunities are limited normally to bear and turkeys. As an added bonus there are plenty of javelina on the property as well. This javelina tag for archery and H.A.M (handgun, archery and muzzleloader) is available over the counter and the season is year round. You will be responsible for your lodging and meals on this 3 day 1x1 or 2x1 guided hunt. Two hunters are preferred but if you don’t have a buddy no problem as they will take you 1x1 at no additional cost.

This outfitter/guide has hunted our clients for about 10 years, before starting up his own operation in 2023, and the consistent yearly results prove he has the goods. He hunts New Mexico and also Arizona and, in addition to elk, he also hunts mule deer, lions, black bears, Coues deer, javelina and more. As an avid houndsman with excellent dry ground hounds that he personally trains himself, he naturally gets into a lot of wild country, thus ensuring you have a knowledgeable, fit and capable outfitter. If you are hunting elk in New Mexico, he hunts mainly private ground. By purchasing landowner vouchers, he can supply you with a bull tag, which means you avoid the long odds of trying to draw a tag!! Equally important is the fact that there is no public competition for the bulls on these private ranch lands. So bulls can get some age, which is critical for trophy sizes. Add to that the further fact that his area (primarily Unit 12 in NM), is generally modestly rolling ground, meaning you do not need to be an athlete to get around on these hunting grounds.

LODGING: This operation does not furnish lodging, but various hotels and motels are not far away. The outfitter can make suggestions. He does furnish food, guiding and hunt transport.

Cow Elk Pricing: $3,500 per hunter. Javelina trophy fee of $1,000.

Bull Elk Rifle: NM 5-day hunt (unit-wide voucher) $15,000 per person 1x1

NM 5-day hunt (ranch only voucher) $14,000 per person 1x1

Dates: October 17-21 or 24-28th
