Orem Summerfest is bigger and better than ever.  With new events, new locations, and new memories to make, there is something for everyone this year.
Tuesday, June 7th
New Event: "All Together in Faith"
Wednesday, June 8th
New Event: "An Evening of Stories with Bill Harley & Tim Lowry"
World-famous storytellers Bill Harley & Tim Lowry will be at the SCERA Shell for a special Summerfest concert. Tickets are just $5. Show starts at 7:30 p.m.
Thursday, June 9th
New Event: "Family Night @ the Carnival"
Rides and games will open up at 5 p.m. and go until 10 p.m.
All rides are just 1 ticket and all tickets are just $0.75!
New Event: "Orem's Got Talent  "
The most talented people in Orem will take to the stage in City Center Park to compete for cash prizes. Show starts at 7 p.m. There will also be a performance by former American Idol contestant Bri Ray.

Here's what's happening in the additional Summerfest location.
Food Trucks

All of your favorite food trucks will be in Scera Park from Noon to 9 p.m both Friday and Saturday.

Kids' Crafts & Games

If you've got little ones, there is no place better to be than the Kids' Crafts Pavilion at Scera Park . There will be balloon animals, face painting, educational games and activities, and a whole lot more.
Best of all, it's FREE!

Friday - 2 to 4 pm
Saturday - 10 am to 12:30 pm
Saturday - 1 pm to 3:30 pm

Business Showcase

This new event and will provide a venue for local companies to show off the cool things that they are doing. It is a celebration of the businesses that help make Orem and the surrounding communities such a great place to live.

Car Show

The sweetest rides around are brought together for this special event. This year the Car Show will be at Scera Park.

All-Together Shootout with Jimmer Fredette

Friday, June 10th - 6 pm

BYU Basketball legend Jimmer Fredette is coming to Summerfest to serve as Grand Marshal with his wife, Whitney. 

He is also shooting 100 three pointers to help raise money for the All-Together Playground as well as teaching kindness in local schools.

Seating to this event is limited but you can guarantee your seats with a small pledge of $0.25 per shot that Jimmer can make.


If you don't want to pledge, the event will be live streamed on the City of Orem YouTube channel.

The Great Big Baby Contest

Saturday, June 11th - 12:30 to 3:30 pm

Orem Summerfest and America's Freedom Festival have teamed up to bring you the Great Big Baby Contest.

Online registration is only $12 and the first 250 to register will receive a special gift bag. Registration at the door is $15. 


This year's contest is at Orem High to allow lots of room for the babies and their fans.

GENTRI - Free Concert

Gentri will be performing a free concert on Friday, June 10th at 8:30 pm at the stage in City Center Park.

Rotary Pancake Breakfast

Saturday - 8 to 10 am

The Orem Rotary's annual all-you-can-eat pancake  buffet helps fund various service projects.

Just by eating pancakes you are helping provide dictionaries for every third grade student in Orem, winter coats for elementary kids in Orem, scholarships to UVU, sponsoring foreign exchange students, building the All-Together Playground in Orem, humanitarian projects worldwide, Polio vaccinations to eradicate Polio throughout the world.

$3 per person or $15 per family

Fun One Run

Saturday - 5:30 pm

The Fun One Run is a new Summerfest event for everyone. The race is a quick 1 mile trip down the Summerfest parade route starting at the intersection of 800 East and Center Street.

Participants can walk, run, ride, roll, and race to the finish line at the Orem City Center where there will be prizes and treats.

This event is for both kids and adults. Registration is just $5 online. 

Grand Parade

Saturday - 7pm

The marquee event of Summerfest. The parade route heads north on 800 East and then turns down Center Street for the big finish.
Fireworks

Saturday - 10pm

Finish Summerfest 2016 with the annual fireworks show.
