Thank you, thank you THANK YOU to everyone who
donated to Orphans of the Storm for this year's Day of Giving! It was our most successful one ever! With your help we raised $27,500.02 with a .1875 cent per dollar match from the match partners for a total of $32,556.90 to help our orphans!!!
A special thank you to the Richard G. Snyder YMCA and NexTier Bank for sponsoring the 2017 Day of Giving!
You may have noticed a change in our volunteer sign-in sheets. We made extra space under "Activity & Area" in case you want to let those coming in later in the day know what areas you visited or the specific animals you visited. This will prevent the same dogs from being walked twice, while some dogs have not been walked at all.
We had a close call May 5. Thanks to the volunteers who were on standby in case we needed to evacuate our animals. Thankfully the waters receded as the rains slowed up. Click
here

See you around the shelter!!!

Happy Tails
Poor Piper had a rough life and is an incredibly lucky girl to find a home with volunteer Diana!
Vinnie was a long-term shelter resident and waited for a home for over two years. His new mom did not want in the picture and Vinnie was being camera shy too!
Nanny was abandoned out in the cold over the winter, and desperately wanted back inside. While she was at the shelter she was a favorite of both the staff & volunteers. She was adopted to be loved & spoiled for the rest of her life!
Ranger (aka Paddy) was rescued from a kill shelter in West Virginia around St Patrick's Day last year. Here's Ranger on his way to his forever home with his new dad!!! Just look at those smiles!!
