SERVED THE ROCK, THURSDAY OCTOBER 17, 5-7 PM, KC HALL
The Ottawa Area Chamber is excited to introduce our newest event, SERVE THE ROCK. This new concept of business after hours will showcase over 20 non-profit organizations throughout Starved Rock Country. We were looking for a way to show our local non-profit organizations how much we care. In partnership with the United Way of Eastern LaSalle County and the local non-profit networking group we are offering an opportunity for organizations
to share their mission. We encourage attendees to engage in a deeper way as a volunteer, as a committee member, or even serve as a board member. Think of this as a fun networking event with a heart for service. Attendees will be encouraged to visit the variety of non-profits, armed with a passport of hand selected questions, a type of educational scavenger hunt. We want you to leave with a better knowledge of our diverse non-profits. Complete the passport and be entered in to several raffles for a variety of gifts. The ultimate goal is to make our region a better place for everyone.
