Otterbein University Earns Third Consecutive National Champion Title at 2023 Diller Equine IDA National Championships
After a riveting day of team competition and impressive performances from riders across the board, the Otterbein University Dressage Team was named the 2023 Diller Equine IDA National Champion. Concluding on Sunday, April 23rd, at the Virginia Horse Center, the National Championships saw 26 schools from around the nation return to compete in individual and team competitions, with 12 schools going head-to-head for the title of IDA National Team Champion.

The Otterbein University Team of Valerie Golden, Jenna McPeek, Emma Young, Aubrey Dickens, and coach Jenn Roth rode into the weekend with gusto, setting out to defend their Championship title after winning the last two IDA National Championships in 2019 and 2022. As Champions, they earned their school $10,000 worth of hay feeders from Diller Equine and went home with Collegiate saddles from Weatherbeeta Group, custom jackets from Sew You Custom Gifts, and a coach's shadbelly from Kerrits.

Otterbein clinched their third consecutive Champion title at the 2023 Diller Equine IDA Nationals.
Mount Holyoke College earned Reserve Champion team.
Emory & Henry College took home the KTB Creative Group Team Spirit Award.
