1. Shiny, happy paper products making shiny, happy people. Greeting cards from Egg Press, Rifle Paper Co, and Yeppie Paper - sunshine in an envelope.

2. Blue Q helping us tell it like it is. The Random Crap bag - the portable equivalent of a junk drawer.

3. Brown butter chocolate. It's almost April, can we all agree to let butter and chocolate and, most importantly, brown butter chocolate (!!!) back into our diets?

4. Pasta sauce to match your mood. Sugo Sauce is from Vancouver and we are grateful that at long last we can match our dinner plans to our attitude. Their infused olive oils are fantastic, too.

5. A Kook'e for breakfast. And lunch. And dinner. Sure, Cookie Monster says that cookies are a sometimes food, but these are kook'es! Locally-made with the best ingredients, these slice-and-bake frozen doughs come wrapped in the parchment that you bake them on. Genius, right? Caramel Chocolate Chip, Marshmallow Blondie, Cranberry Oatmeal, Double Chocolate, and GLUTEN-FREE (!) Peanut Butter Blast.

6. Coffee in copper, and a cup just for you. This line of French presses comes in a single-serving size, for those mornings that call for just one perfect cup.

7. Making children happy (especially if it's your inner child). Award-winning chocolatier Anne Sellmer's cōchu chocolates are not to be missed: bonbons and enrobed sponge toffee and the above-pictured candy bark. After the smashing success of her first chocolate workshop with us, she's coming back in May for an encore!

8. Fueling your body while treating your tastebuds. Our favourite portable snacks to keep you going while you get out in the sun, because, sigh, cookies are a sometimes food.

9. A rainbow of French linens. Our Spring shipment of Garnier Thiebaut tea towels and napkins have arrived! We literally have a rainbow of them, including new seasonal patterns. They're one of our favourite things to gift - beautiful, functional, and French.

. 10. Hello, is it Fever-Tree you're looking for? Gin and tonic season!  It's never too early to start practicing for patio weather. Fever-Tree is fabulous, but we're particularly partial to Porter's Tonic syrups too - they're local, and the Cardamom Orange tastes like a warm breeze.

Honorary mention: Metrovino's rosé sale. It's Spring, time to get sprung! (Their newsletter called it 'kinky pinky.' We're blushing, and so is the wine.)

Come visit us this weekend and pick out your own favourite Spring Things!
