Memorial Hospital Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with its own Board of Directors, by-laws and Articles of Incorporation. We raise support for and manage 26 funds that provide financial assistance to Memorial Health System's patients and employees.
As a supporter of the Memorial Hospital Foundation, you make an impact in the lives of our patients, and our employees, and in our health system. In 2025, we provided assistance to Memorial’s patients 13,711 times, assisted 74 employees, and funded 11 projects. Learn more in Annual Impact Report.
Join us for our fundraising gala on Saturday, April 18th from 7pm-10pm at White Pillars Restaurant and Lounge and experience an unforgettable evening filled with live entertainment from New Orleans’ Big Easy Band, exquisite cuisine, craft cocktails, and the spirit of Havana, all in support of our mission to provide assistance to Memorial’s patients in need. We'll also feature a selection of Davidoff cigars on the patio provided by The Cigar Shop. Come dressed in your vibrant Havana inspired cocktail attire and get ready for a night to remember!
Join us for the Blue Dress Walk on March 28 from 10 am to 2 pm at Chandeleur Island Brewing for a community walk to raise awareness for colon cancer prevention, screening, and early detection. Wear blue and help spark conversations that can save lives and support patients in need. Proceeds will benefit our Blue Hope Fund, which provides financial support to patients in need of colorectal screenings.
We manage 26 funds that provide financial support to Memorial Health System's patients and employees. What makes us unique is that 100% of donations to the Foundation directly benefit the fund of your choosing and stay in our community. We have several donor programs for our supporters to choose from and you get to pick the fund you would like your donation to benefit.
