We invite you to experience the stunnning beauty of the Pajaro Valley as seen through the eyes of 57 incredibly talented Plein Air artists who were invited to paint at ten locations in our community. This  e xhibit   is dedicated to the memory of Kay Metz and Mary  Warshaw, both supporters of PVA and Plein Air enthusiasts. Mary's and Kay's work will have a place of honor and will be for sale in the Gallery Store.

We thank the tireless curatorial team of Susanna Waddell, Bruce Nicholson and Judy Cooper; Exhibit Coordinator, Hedwig Heerschop; our site hosts, photographic documentarian, David Reese; participating artists, our sponsors, and the Gallery Committee.

This exhibit was made possibly through the generosity of: Apple, Harry and Mary Blanchard, Lou Falek and Lyn MacDonald, Carolyn Hyatt, Tom Millman and Susanna Waddell, Adrienne Momi, George T. Moveable Murals:

 250 Main Street, Watsonville
Priscilla Martinez

The second round of Moveable Murals was installed right before the Strawberry Festival! Congratulations to our selected muralists, Priscilla Martinez, Jaime Sánchez, and Peter Bartczak. The second round was sponsored by the City of Watsonville and coordinated by Tamara Vides, City Manager's Office and Judy Stabile of PVA.

We thank the City staff who made for a smooth transition, Grant Adams, Miguel Navarrete, Josh and John. Our call-for-entry this year asked artists to consider the theme of pedestrian safety as seen in two of the murals selected. The ribbon cutting will be held within the next few weeks.

Peter Bartczak

It is hard to say goodbye to the first round of murals, sponsored by the Community Foundation of Santa Cruz. The great news is that three of them are truly on the move! In the near future, you will find three of the murals at Pajaro Valley Loaves and Fishes and the Watsonville Civic Plaza.
