Our CEO is a Finalist for San Diego Magazine's Non-Profit Visionary Award

We are proud to announce that our CEO, Marineke Vandervort, is a finalist for San Diego Magazine's Non-Profit Visionary award! This honor is awarded to a woman who has made an extraordinary effort and has had an extraordinary impact on others.

Because of the thoughtful and dynamic leadership of Marineke over the years, our Club has grown to serve more youth, created a culture of passionate mentors who work together as a team, and safely and effectively navigated the COVID-19 pandemic.

A reception will be held on Tuesday, November 16th to announce the winner.
As we support our youth through the emotional toll of this pandemic, we need your help in supporting us with the financial toll.

Prop 64 Grant Kicks Off at Griset
Members at our Griset Clubhouse have learned about composting, types of vegetables, and how to make tasty, healthy snacks such as sourdough muffins with fig spread, and unicorn lemonade. This fun and educational program runs three times a week at our Center For a Healthy Lifestyle garden and kitchen in Encinitas.

Cornhole Tournament Raises
Spirits and Funds
Our 7th Annual Cornhole Tournament sponsored by Slatt Capital, held this past Saturday, October 9th was a huge success. The sold-out event hosted 105 teams, perfect 80-degree weather & community support from over 35 San Diego businesses. The event boasted its most successful fundraising year ever at just over $35,000 net.

This iconic beach event brings together novice & competitive players, corporate sponsors, and residents from all over San Diego in an environment & manner representative of the organization & community we serve.

Thanks go to all who participated, sponsored, and supported our event, our organization, and most of all, the youth and families we serve!
