The Dawning of a New Year and a Brilliant Future

A Bright Future Ahead: Celebrating Our People, Products, and New Opportunities in 2025

As we step into 2025, I want to take a moment to reflect on Surtreat’s remarkable journey and share the exciting initiatives we have planned for the year ahead. These achievements and upcoming ventures are possible only because of the unwavering dedication of our incredible Surtreat family.

As a family-run business, Surtreat thrives on the commitment and collaboration of our extended family. From our dedicated employees and staff, who work tirelessly to deliver innovative products, solutions, and technical support, to our passionate agents and applicators, who strive to provide their customers with cutting-edge, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly solutions, every member plays a vital role.

We are also deeply grateful for our forward-thinking technology partners, who recognize the critical importance of addressing the underlying chemistry of structures to enhance the durability of their technologies. Most importantly, we thank our loyal customers, who continue to believe in Surtreat’ s mission to deliver surface-applied technologies that treat and prevent the root causes of deterioration. Together, we aim to extend the longevity of infrastructure in an environmentally conscious and cost-effective manner.

Together, we remain committed to delivering advanced surface-applied technologies that not only extend the service life of the infrastructure that moves the world but also prioritize environmental responsibility and cost-efficiency.

Reflecting on Our Legacy

Since 1989, when Surtreat founders Robert Walde and Anthony Fiasco developed our flagship three-part system to repair, strengthen, and protect NASA’s still-active Launch Pad 39A, we have continuously expanded our portfolio of advanced chemical solutions. These innovations have set the standard for preserving and protecting the infrastructure that keeps the world moving.

Our groundbreaking technologies include:

  • Purge Technology: Extracting nuclear and lead contaminants from reinforced concrete slabs.
  • VCI Coating: A military-spec primer developed with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, delivering long-term corrosion protection for steel at its core.

Through each innovation, we have prioritized the development of non-destructive, cost-effective solutions synonymous with durability, sustainability, and ingenuity.

Looking Ahead: A Year of Growth and Innovation:

2025 promises to be transformative for Surtreat as we launch several key initiatives to solidify our position as an industry leader in chemical preservation:

1. Continued R&D and New Technology Integration

We are expanding our portfolio to address complex structural challenges with cutting-edge solutions, including:

  • SurcoSteel: A chemical treatment for steel infrastructure applied during the quenching phase, providing an alternative to galvanizing or zinc coatings.
  • TPS XV DTM: Revolutionizing corrosion mitigation for bonded post-tension construction by directly injecting high-concentration VCI into tendons, eliminating excavation, and offering significant cost savings.
  • Surtreat FRP++: Combining chemical and physical solutions to enhance FRP systems by mitigating corrosion, increasing surface tensile strength, and reducing carbon needs in reinforced polymer systems.
  • SurCoProtect: A three-part solution protecting new underground concrete structures from high-acid and chloride environments, ideal for wastewater systems, manholes, and sanitary systems.

2. Global Expansion and New Markets

In 2025, we are extending our reach into new regions, including Mexico, Canada, Dubai, Colombia, and Spain. Through our expanding network of agents, distributors, and applicators, we are adapting to regional needs and delivering unparalleled value worldwide.

3. OEM Partnerships and Synergistic Growth

To meet the growing demand for integrated solutions, we are collaborating with manufacturers and distributors to incorporate Surtreat technologies into their offerings. This includes expanding into FRP, waterproofing, and prestressed concrete cylinder pipe (PCCP) markets, strengthening our impact on water and wastewater infrastructure.

The Power of Teamwork

Our achievements and future initiatives are made possible by the strength of our team—employees, partners, applicators, and customers. It is through this shared vision and collaboration that we deliver meaningful, lasting solutions to some of the world’s most pressing infrastructure challenges.

As we embark on this exciting new chapter, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks for your trust, dedication, and unwavering support. I am proud of all we’ve accomplished together and look forward to building an even brighter future in 2025.

Here’s to a year filled with opportunity, growth, and success—for Surtreat, for our partners, and for the customers we proudly serve.
