Spotlight On:
Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month
Did you know that 1 in 3 teens in the US will experience abuse by someone they are in a relationship with before they become adults?

February is Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month, a national effort to raise awareness about abuse in teen and 20-something relationships and promote programs that prevent it. Help CRC spread awareness and stop dating abuse before it starts. Read Former Deputy Mayor Lisa Shaffer's newest article about our educational programs that work to prevent teen dating violence in our community.

Thank you to our recent donors and partners:
Round Table Pizza

Each week, as parent participants gather for an adult domestic violence support group, their children meet separately for their own support group. For many years , Round Table Pizza has donated pizza weekly for the children, who really look forward to it as they arrive for the group. Thank you for this support that helps brighten their days!
Leah's Pantry

Our volunteers and staff are so excited about the new refrigerator donated by Leah's Pantry and the San Diego Food System Alliance. Thank you for a grant that provided consulting to enhance our food programs and funds to purchase a new refrigerator and recipe rack! We now have space for more food to help people in need and a fun way to share healthy recipes with participants.
