Walker Field in Hicksville.

Teddy Bear Project
Michael Magro Foundation and NYU Winthrop Hospital’s Pediatric Division created The Teddy Bear Program to provide teddy bears to children who are going through treatments. “The teddy bears really have an incredible impact on the children’s emotions as they undergo a huge battle in their young lives." - Terrie Magro

Thanks to the Michael Magro Foundation’s ongoing philanthropic support, the CCFK’s SOAR Program continues to meet the critical academic needs of our pediatric hematology and cancer patients.

RECAP of the Golf Outing
Our 2nd Annual Golf Outing was on June 6, 2019 at the Cold Spring Country Club. It was a huge success, as we raised over $140,000! Thank you to all golfers, sponsors, and volunteers! Special thanks to both “Big Mike” Sangiamo, 103.1 FM’s midnight DJ, emcee for the evening, and Miss Long Island Teen 2019, Geanna Koulouris, event good will ambassador.

RECAP of Fishing Trip
On May 22, 2019, The PR Freelancer hosted Charter for Charity, a Fishing Trip with Friends. The event raised $500 for the Michael Magro Foundation. Thank you to everyone who attended, it was a great evening.
RECAP of BOCES Car Wash
On June 1, 2019, BOCES hosted their annual Car Wash, for their students and staff. They raised $350 for the Foundation. Thank you for your continuous support.
Our Youngest Ambassadors
Earlier this month, some of our youngest ambassadors (children of Board Member, Tom Galati) painted shells and sold them for a donation. They raised close to $100 for MMF.
