Thank you to our community for supporting Barrow County Schools
As we move into November, this special edition newsletter is taking a moment to express our thanks for the many businesses and organizations that support our schools. We’d like to share a few stories today!
Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers donates frozen custard and combo cards to the schools with the best staff attendance every month.
Chico’s FAS generously donated $5,000 to BCSS Food 2 Kids. This money will be used to fund weekend bags of food sent home for 18 students. 
North Georgia Medical Center (NGMC) Barrow as a District Partner In Education, generously restocked Barrow County School Nurse’s Clinics system-wide with needed disposable supplies.
New Path 1010, Inc. has come along side BCSS to address childhood hunger by providing 111 weekly, kid-friendly, weekend food bags at four schools. Additionally, New Path will provide $3000 in scholarships per school for AHS graduates and for WBHS graduates in the Spring.
12 Stone Church Bethlehem generously donated over 120 “Blessing Bags” for BCSS families in need and hygiene bags for girls.
Havoc Construction LLC of Winder donated funds to assist paying student lunch debt at Winder Elementary School.
