The K–12 education system is increasingly being flooded with persistent anti-American and antisemitic messaging.


StopAntisemitism has identified the 10 school districts with the most significant concerns nationwide (see below). As we prepare our upcoming report, we are urging parents, students, teachers, and faculty in these districts to come forward and share their experiences.

This isn't a new problem! Since October 7th, StopAntisemitism has exposed - and gotten fired - an alarming number of educators promoting antisemitism in our schools.

The question is no longer if this problem is widespread, but rather how many others are out there?

Philip Leddy - Elementary School Principal

Philip Leddy, a principal at Lower Gwynedd Elementary School in Montgomery County, PA, was recorded on a voicemail to a Jewish parent spewing antisemitic rhetoric. In the voicemail he can be heard stating things like "Jew camp," "Jew money," and "they control the banks."

As a result of StopAntisemitism's reporting, Philip Leddy was terminated.

Russel Koenig - Special Education Teacher

Russel Koenig, a special education teacher at Ponte Vedra High in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, calls for the death of Zionists (aka 95%+ of Jews), spreads antisemitic blood libels of Jews controlling the government and harming innocent people, and calls to boycott Jewish owned companies.

Following StopAntisemitism's expose, Russel Koenig was let go.

Mitchell Johnson - Education Board President

Reverend Mitchell Johnson, Chicago's Education Board President, posted, "I have been saying this since October 2023. People have an absolute right to attack their oppressors by any means necessary!" He also compares Zionist Jews to German Nazis, calls on people to "stop blaming Hamas" and asks how long the "Jewish people in America" will stand for "Israelis war crimes."

Thankfully, StopAntisemitism's intervention resulted in Reverend Mitchell Johnson's swift resignation.

Heidi Benner - Teacher's Assistant

Heidi Benner, a teacher's assistant at Amphi Middle School in Tucson, AZ, claims that "Zionists collaborated with the Nazis," calls Israel "the Nazi Germany of the Middle East," and publicly wishes for Hamas to destroy Israel.

As a result of StopAntisemitism's expose, Heidi Benner was fired.

Rebecca Rothstein - Math Teacher

Rebecca Rothstein, a math teacher at Argyle Middle School in Montgomery County, MD, compares Zionism to Nazism, calls for an "intifada revolution" or violence against Jews, and defends Hamas and the October 7th massacre, denying they are terrorists.

In response to StopAntisemitism's reporting, Rebecca Rothstein was dismissed.

Abdallah Ahmad - History Teacher

Abdallah Ahmad, an 8th grade history teacher at Dearborn Public Schools in Michigan, compares Zionism to Nazism, spreads antisemitic libel of Jewish control over the U.S. government, and falsely claims that Israel harvests and sells organs.

After StopAntisemitism's exposure, Abdallah Ahmed was terminated.

StopAntisemitism continues to hold antisemites accountable for their hatred when others can't or won't.
