Join us in congratulating our 2020 cohort! They have finished one year of their two-year journey at Saranam.
Their first year was jam-packed with college preparation classes, life skills and financial management (to name a few). They have stacked lesson after lesson on top each other and have already accomplished so much.
This first year is crucial to their success. Families who stay in the program for a year are 3.5 times more likely to exit successfully (meeting 3 or more of our measures of success).
The success builds the longer families stay. Families who exit with 4 or more measures of success stay an average of 531 days (1.5 years) in the program.
And we know that this stability lasts. 86% of families who leave our program successfully remain stable after a year. This not only solidifies their foundation, but places their kids on a new path that will end generational poverty and homelessness forever.
