A Screening in Vancouver,Washington

GSGC board member Heidi Johnson Bixby opened a sunny room in her office building April 10 to host the first screening of Mentorship: A Pathway Out of Poverty. About 50 supporters who hadn’t gathered since the pandemic hit came to see it!

Speakers included not only Heidi and GSGC founder Priscilla Plummer, who traveled from Cape Town, South Africa, to celebrate the screening, but Vancouver artist Russell Ford and his wife, Barbara Ford. Both ardent supporters, they are organizing a money-raising art auction in the same space on Sept. 10! Mark your calendar, please. Proceeds will support the nearly 60 clubs we sponsor in Zambia, Madagascar and Zimbabwe.
