Friend to Friend January 2019
Our Friends Place is happy to introduce our new SOAR Specialist, Marina Dewberry ! We are excited to have her on the SOAR to Success team working with Libby Woolverton. S he’ll be busy going from high schools to community colleges to local resource partners leading weekly life skills sessions. We are so excited to have her work with the young women and really help the SOAR program be a difference in their lives! Welcome, Marina!
HOMELESS YOUTH COUNT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
CitySquare and neighboring agencies take a survey of homeless youth. By conducting brief surveys, important data is collected letting resource partners know about the number of homeless kids in Dallas and what they need to grow and thrive! Every survey brings us one step closer to ending youth homelessness.

Interested in being a part of See Us Now-Youth Survey February 1st-3rd and 8th-10th? Email countusinDallas@gmail.com for more information.

Register and join the OFP team as we walk the West End area both weekends!
HOLIDAY THANK YOU
What an amazing holiday season the Transitional Living Center residents had thanks to the many wish lists fulfilled with gifts and food! The joy and smiles on their faces for being recipients of such generosity was overwhelming. Some young women have never experienced a Christmas with gifts so many thanks to the individuals, churches, and community groups who donated lifting their spirits and filling their hearts with love.
