Dear NAPC Family,
In September 2019, New Albany Presbyterian Church left our church building because we, as a congregation, believed that the Lord was leading us to a different denomination, and that transition came at the cost of our house of worship. Fortunately, we found some great partners, including New Albany Middle School and Franklin United Brethren Church. These partners helped us continue to meet and function as a portable church. Through all the setting up, tearing down, trailer hauling, and live-streaming, our entire congregation has worked hard to remain a faithful body of believers, dedicated to our mission to see Lives Changed by Jesus.
And so, it is with tremendous gratitude in our hearts to all of you for your gifts of time, money, prayer, and service, that the Elders of NAPC would like to announce the opening dates for our new church building.
-
Our last Sunday at the New Albany Middle School is October 8th

On Sunday, October 15, 2023, we will worship together as one body at 10:00am in our new building. For this service, we will not have any big announcements about that day compared with our βGrand Opening Sunday" the following week. All are welcome that day, but not publicizing this service will allow us to celebrate together, work out some potential bugs, and then have our big grand opening the following Sunday with our two normal services.
-
On Thursday, October 19, 2023, we will open our building and our grounds to the community for a welcoming celebration, with further details to be announced at a future date.
-
Sunday, October 22, 2023 will be our Grand Opening Sunday, when we will ask all of you to invite friends and family near and far to worship with us in accordance with our usual service schedule β Traditional Worship at 9:00am and Acoustic at 11:00am. Look for materials we will have available to help invite friends, family and neighbors in the upcoming weeks.
As our season of being a portable church comes to a close, we hope you are as overwhelmed with gratitude to our Lord as we are. We know that we have been richly blessed in and through this season, and that He will use all the work and struggles we endured for our good and His glory. We look forward to continuing to work toward our annual goal of stewarding our God-given gifts for outreach and care in our church and community.
Please reach out to any of us with any questions or concerns you may have.
In Christ,
The NAPC Elders
